Jasper sighed but nodded at her words, hoping, praying that she was right. He followed her when they hopped out the window. Once they were outside, he could feel his senses already heighten. He looked into her eyes when she spoke to him and he could sense her own fear. He shook his head before shrugging off the leather jacket that Leah put on him for these cold nights.
Jasper wrapped Arianne in the jacket before lifting her up in his arms. "The dogs... they don't like me as much as they don't like you..." He tells her before holding her close to his chest as he started running through towards the hunter's den. Except, he didn't stay completely on the ground, he moved up in the broken down buildings and jumped through the small gaps. Unfortunately, the dogs were smarter, faster, stronger at night, so staying on the ground wasn't the wisest choice.
What Jasper found out real quickly when they arrived here and he wondered around the den aimlessly, he didn't acquire any of his mother's magical abilities, but he did inherit both his mother's and his father's past skills of being highly skilled in weaponry and balance. So, when he moved from building to building, it seemed effortless.
